Howard Bros. are proud of the diversity of its customer base and its 60 years experience in the engraving industry. We have seen many changes over the years from the ‘hand engraved’ era to the modern digital times.
The company of today offers a service continuing ‘hands on’ technology with the digital means to give you the best solution for every job.

Our diversity ranges from the old ‘metal bashing’ industry requirements of simple hand stamps to mark their products, to the very sophisticated medal dies that can take up to 100 hours to cut on our CNC machines.

Over several years now, Howard Bros. have invested heavily in high precision dedicated engraving machines to now boast of 7 machines... 4 with 4 axis capability and up to a 1m sq. engraving envelope. Alongside this continued investment we have several seats of engraving software including Artcam, Cimagrafi, and Type 3 along with a Renishaw cyclone scanner.
We also have an in-house tool room for the production of tools to customers’ own specific drawings. We can work with your data and import into our systems using the following formats:

• 3d – Iges stl, .3ds
  
• Import vector files – .dxf .dwg .ai .eps .plt .pdf .ps
  
• Import bitmaps - .jpeg .pcx .bmp .tiff .psd

We can also use the Renishaw cyclone to capture a 3 dimensional surface, or scan 2 dimensionally, a good quality print of your artwork, i.e. company logo, design etc.
